Case Study Saracens
With cryotherapy widely used at international level, Europe’s rugby champions wanted to provide their players the same recovery methods as used so successfully at International camps such as England, Wales and Ireland.
A 5-6 person Transportable unit was selected, part branded and brought to site before Christmas 2016.
Lowered into place at the clubs training ground in St Albans, the cryotherapy unit alongside its vessel takes no more than 9.5m in length and 2.9m in width, resulting in only 3 car parking spaces being lost.
Upon leaving site after training the medical staff on how to use the system, the outside of the unit has been cladded, with flower beds incorporated in order to blend in and compliment the current façade of the clubhouse.
After its installation, Saracens once again became Rugby Unions European Champions.
Saracens Performance Director
“This piece of equipment will undoubtedly speed up our players recovery time from fatigue and soft tissue damage caused during training, domestic games as well as the international representation our players face throughout the season. For me, this unit with its design, size and quality of cryotherapy treatment is the best I’ve seen.
