CryoAction’s Transportable cryotherapy chambers are designed to be installed externally, often adjacent to gymnasiums or changing areas. The Transportable cryochamber is used where internal space is restricted or the construction of new facilities is to take place in the future and a temporary cryotherapy solution is required. The unit houses everything required to deliver a complete cryotherapy treatment in one purpose-designed unit. The specially fabricated unit comprises a cryotherapy chamber, a changing/preparation area, and a separate entrance for the technical apparatus. All the unit requires is a stable foundation, electricity, and a separate liquid nitrogen supply so treatments can commence.

The unit is built with a prefabricated structure consisting of a vestibule and the cryotherapy chamber, where the walls are filled with thermal insulation. The internal walls of the chamber are lined with attractive wood panels.

The cryochamber itself is cooled using liquid nitrogen. This enables the system to deliver effective cryotherapy treatment temperatures as low as -160°C. The advanced design and configuration of the system make the CryoAction cryotherapy chamber to be one of the most efficient and economical in its consumption of liquid nitrogen.

Most commonly used within the sports and fitness industry, the CryoAction Transportable unit can be made to cater for up to 6 persons at a time. The Transportable unit contains the same premium technology as our CryoDuo™ comprising of a pre-chamber where the temperature is cooled to -60°C to prepare the users for the next stage of the treatment, and the main chamber cooled to as low as -160°C. This main chamber is larger and users are encouraged to move around the room to maximise the therapeutic effect of the treatment.

The Transportable is the product of years of experience in offering similar cryotherapy systems to some of the world’s leading sports teams.

The Transportable unit has been approved by major gas companies due to its attention to safety. The air inside the chamber is supercooled using our specially designed cryogenic technology. At no time does the user encounter nitrogen, only safe breathable air. The Transportable is, therefore, justified in its claim as the safest transportable whole body cryotherapy unit on the market today.

All CryoAction systems have oxygen monitoring systems and automatic shut off valves to close nitrogen supply in the unlikely event of any leakage.
